I'd like to thank everyone who attended one of the three reunion events this past weekend! As part of the committee that's been planning the Reunion since last fall, I had a great time seeing everyone and watching the events unfold over Friday & Saturday. For me, it was good to see old friends but it was also fun making new connections. I've been truly blessed to have had the opportunity to be part of our 25th Reunion - I hope you had a great time also. Watch the website over the next few weeks as we will be posting pictures, eliciting your feedback and polling for ideas regarding our next Reunion!

Thank you SO much to the organizing committee for the reunion weekend! It was great to talk with people I haven't seen for so long - most since graduation day! Since I was only able to make the Friday night event, I'm still looking forward to another reunion night. I hope it doesn't take another 25 years to get us together. Thanks again. I wish we had more time to spend together!

I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone involved with organizing this weekends events. I am so glad I was able to come in for this event and I had a great time. I got to see some people I never thought would show up and looked for others who I thought for sure would have. Let's not wait 25 years for the next reunion. I don't want to have to show up with a walker or cane. :) Safe travels back home to those who came in for the big event.

Just wanted to say Hi and Congratulations to members of the Class of '80, at your 25th reunion! I hope all of you are well! Teaching at SMA was fantastic, and is a memory I will always cherish. Regarding me...my wife and I have 2 wonderful daughters, and I continue to teach--I am the Naturalist Supervisor at Retzer Nature Center, with the Waukesha County Parks--also, I teach a course in beginning chemistry (!) at WCTC, for returning students going into health occupations. Enjoy your reunion, and my best to you all! Larry Kascht

Wish we could, but life tends to interfere!! Have a BLAST! Hi to everyone!! I am still searching for that box of old High School pictures to scan and post!!! Carol, Maxine, Barb, Judy, Karen, Arndtsie....I'm talking about you! I remember a few that were pretty hilarious! Knee-Gees anyone??? Have fun! Kathy

Hi everyone! Where has the time gone? Thank you for doing a great job on the web site. Since graduating from St. Mary's, I graduated from Cardinal Stritch College with a B.A. in Sociology. From then on I worked as a law librarian and mainly an office manager for several years. I enjoyed working for Funjet Vacations as a Accounts Receivable/Collections Sr. Supv. for several years. Now I am working at The Journal Broadcasting Group as a Account Receivable/Collections Coordinator. I have enjoyed traveling to Europe, Mexico and the States. Can't wait to see everyone!

I want to thank everyone involved in these reunion plans and this website is the best idea. I just visited SMA already for a wedding that was held on the front lawn it was a great party and I couldn't believe how the building hasn't changed after 25 yrs it still looks the same and the gym still smells. I hope to see all of you Friday or Saturday.

Great Website...kudos to all who worked on it. I love taking a walk down memory lane with all of you. I am so sad to have to miss the reunion but hopefully the website can be kept up and running, even if you need a donation...it keeps everyone in touch with each other. 25 years and Life just passes by faster everyday. Time to stop ans smell the roses. Have a great time at the reunion! Miss all of you!

Sincerest congratulations on your 25th class reunion. It was a privilege to teach each of you; I hope you have kept up with your reading and are communicating clearly. I am still teaching. I've been at Brookfield Academy teaching Latin and mythology to 7th and 8th graders for twelve years. I still love to be in the classroom and plan to teach at least for one more year full time. Whoever thought of the website for this class should be commended. The best of luck to each of you!

Thanks to all who have worked so hard on the reunion and the web-site. I have a hard time accepting that 25 years have gone by since graduation, I still feel young although the gray hairs prove me wrong. Reading about the interesting and diverse group of women we have become has been so enjoyable. I can't make it to Saturday's activities but to all of you going I hope you have a wonderful time.

Hi everyone, I can't believe 25 years have gone by so fast. I've been living in San Diego, CA since 1982-1983. I got married in Las Vegas on July 5th, 1984 and have been married ever since. My husband works on the Harley Davidson Buell Race Team which allows me to travel with him to the tracks all over the United States when possible. I also host international tours to Costa Rica and Panama and the Panama Canal. I work as a Graphic Artist at Reiman Publications. I love my life and my work. What a great website! Hope to see everyone soon.

Love checking out the SMA site and rockin' to Billy Joel reliving memories and friends! My mom just returned from her 50th reunion and raved about the fun and renewed friendships. So if you are on the fence deciding if you should attend the reunion, "JUST DO IT", instead of sitting around spending time on memories you can't forget with people you can't remember! P.S. I said I can get the old Academy Plaid on, I did not say it looked good!... but did it really ever?!

Ok. This is very weird. I received an invitation to this 25th high school reunion the same week I learned that I was going to become a mother-in-law. This aging thing is happening waaaayyyy too fast. To manage the stress of all of this, I went and dyed my hair gothic black, a drastic change from my 50% grey hair. I look totally ridiculous, but I feel sooooo young.

It is great to see so much activity in the guest book area! Hats of to Detective Lisa Klug for tracking down so many people, especially the non-grads who caused me to receive many a detention! (Thanks Jane & Gail!) Sadly, I haven't done the greatest job at keeping in touch with alums. Fortunately, though, my kids attend Divine Mercy in South Milwaukee, where I've crossed paths with Vicki (Jocz) Wilke, Ellen (Listinsky) Kowalski and Patty (Novotny) & Tim Bollis. (By the way, Patty, thanks for suckering me into a term on the School Board!) I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone else. See you in July!

The web sit looks terrific. Thanks to everyone who has been pulling this together. As for the SMA skirt, it does come in handy. My 13 year old and I had a discussion about what she was wearing to school, so I threatened to wear my "cute plaid uniform skirt" -to school -- I am her math teacher. And, no, it does not fit. - Hope to see everyone there - Kathy

Hi Everyone! Yes, Lisa "found" me also -- Hello from Florida! Love the message board...too funny. Lischke, I am trying to come to the reunion just to see you in that skirt! As for my uniform, didn't we burn that thing? I also have fond(?) memories of a few of those nuns, as well as Mary Heinz's cake / wall decor. Thanks to the reunion team for the trip down memory lane. -Isabelle

I thought flashbacks only happened after PTSD, now I come to find out you can click on this website and be transported back 25 years. I read Lishke's message that she will be wearing her uniform friday night- mine doesn't fit so I won't be wearing anything. NO just kidding. High School was fun and I sure enjoyed all the good times with friends. I wonder if anyone remembers filling my locker with pretzels so that when I opened it after a bout with mono all the pretzels came flying out. How about being chased by a certain nun and climbing out the 4th floor window and shimmying up the cement trellis to avoid detention. Drop me a line if you have a chance. And thanks to the reunion gurus for getting this all together. Ginny

The web site is just grand! I laughed so hard after taking the Quiz. Our reunion committee is stupendous!! I have dug up a few great pictures to add to the site from soph and senior year. Anyone remember the weekly Thurs. food fights in commons? Or what happened to the cake Mary Heinz's mom sent in her lunch each day. ( I think it met up with a wall near the 4th floor lockers!) How about serenading Mary Gorski and friends as they climbed the grand staircase each morning with, "Hey you, Miss America..." Who sang that song anyway? Will definately be at the reunion and plan to fly in on Friday morning. A few brave ones, such as myself are planning on wearing the old Academy plaid to the festivities!! See everyone then!!

I had a great time at the 10 year, and I am soooo looking forward to our 25th!The website is great! I am still living in the dark ages, and have not purchased a computer! I will be using another old frieds E-mail! I have many wonderful and hilarious memories that I can not wait to share with all of you! I hope someone has thought of contacting some of the other"NON" graduates: Sue Nolan, Ellen Warda(McCabe), Teri Weinburger(I think she lives in Florida)! See you in July! The website is great and I look forward to reading new comments each week. The memories come flooding back with the music and the photos - it's funny how many of them are labeled "and date." Best memories include helping to organize skip day and bringing lots of 1/2 barrells of Light Cream Ale to Grant Park with Mary Jo Ladish, slippery pumpkin seeds at Joanne Lipo's house and the times Coach chased (literally) my boyfriend off the property at lunch time!! Looking forward to catching up on the last 15 years with many I've lost touch with and having great times with those I haven't (Jane Jablonski (Cunningham) was going to be my date if she wasn't allowed to come!)

Nice job on the web site! It is a lot of fun to look at, and the opening song couldn't be anymore appropriate! I'm planning on attending the reunion, but as someone else said, it already feels like a reunion just catching up on the web. The website has been alot of fun to look at. I have gone almost yearly to the alumi mass in October. Sadly, I won't be attending the reunion, as I already have plans to come back to Wisconsin in late July to see my new granddaughter who will be born in late June, early July. I encourage my highschool friends to contact me. I would love to hear from them. Have a great time at the reunion!

This is all very exciting! I really can’t believe it’s been 25 years! Oh, all the happy memories… typing 35 wpm (top speed, still is) in typing class, not being able to quit Accounting to take some easy Humanities class, getting my ONE detention my Senior year when Mary Hetzel and I went off school property, never being asked to prom… It was all good! I look back on our years at SMA with fond memories… I just wish more girls could have that opportunity. Take care one and all. Hope to see you in July.
