It's hard to believe that 25 years have passed since we wore our light blue caps and gowns and left St. Mary's to embark on new adventures. We've gotten married and divorced, gained weight, earned degrees, lost weight, created new families, raised pets, worked inside and outside our homes, achieved success, traveled the world, stayed close to home, overcome obstacles, endured losses, strengthened our faith, served our country, made countless brownies for bake sales, driven in carpools, climbed the corporate ladder, started our own companies, pursued - and continue to pursue - dreams. Among us, we've done it all!

Here's our chance to catch up a little before we get to the reunion. Please take some time to tell us the highlights of your past 25 years. Where did you go on to school? What do you most enjoy doing now? Do you work outside the home? Where have you traveled? What is one thing you still dream of doing? What is your best memory of St. Mary's? We can't wait to hear from you!

Send us a current photo, too, if you can. Feel free to include a photo of you with your family. From Danielle:
Time since graduation has been filled with all the usual tasks of adulthood. Work - I'm a home office operations business analyst for Unitrin Business Insurance (formerly Milwaukee Insurance) in Dallas, Texas. (Relocated to Texas in 2002.) Work managed to take over my life and therefore never married so no 'natural' children. However, I've been blessed with numerous 'neices and nephews' from my friends (several from our class) that I have kept long enough to spoil properly and then return to their parents! My free time has been spent traveling - all 50 states, 8 of the Canadian providences, Europe and 6 weeks in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji! I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends and reminiscing about our days at St. Mary's.

From Katie:
It seems like just yesterday we were running through the hallway to meet up with the boy's from T.M. as they got out of Home Ec. class. We are way too young to be going to our 25th reunion, and yet, here we are, just 51 day's away. Life has been full since graduation. I attended a small college in De Pere, Wi.(St. Norbert College). I graduated with a degree in Business along with a minor in Psychology and English( thanks to Sr. Dorothy for instilling in me the love of liturature.) I, then attended a floral desing school in Ohio, soon after I opened a new family business, a flower shop. I was able to travel to Europe to take several Master desingn classes to enable me to better serve my customers. I ran the shop for 6 years and then moved over to our main business. I have been there for 15 years and am now running it solo. I have been lucky enough to be able to travel, with my favorite memories from my trip to Paris for my 40th birthday. I look forward to seeing all my friends again. It will be great to catch up with everyone. Until...

Occupation:  Temporarily Retired -
former owner of an
executive search firm
Marital Status:  Married
From Lisa:
Currently I am enjoying a sabbatical from the working world and enjoying life with my amazingly wonderful husband of 19 years.

Early this year I sold my interest in Executive Search Partners, a search firm I co-owned since 1999.  The time off has given me the opportunity to help plan the reunion and reconnect with an amazing group of women on the planning committee.

Since graduation -
- Degree in math from UWM
- Started career in the actuarial/employee benefits world in a consulting firm where I met by husband Bruce and married him one year later
-Left consulting for the corporate world of employee benefits management
- In 1997 left the corporate world for the executive search business which led me to my own firm two years later
- Never blessed with any children
- No pets except a Beta fish named Cosmo (after the martini!)
- We are golf nuts (50-60 rounds per year)plus competition
-We enjoy entertaining friends, travel often (mostly to golf resorts, vineyards and friends' homes in warm climates)
-We'll be relocating/retiring to Scottsdale within 5 years
-I'll be beginning my own new career search after summer.  In the meantime, if you're looking for a golf partner to play 18 or want career advice on your next job search, I'd love to hear from you!

PS Before you all ask - my "Then" picture is in color because it was originally omitted, in error, from the yearbook.

From Michele:
Sending all best wishes to each of you. 25 years have flown by...I've been married to Mike for 23 years. We have 3 sons, Alex 16, Elliot 13, and Evan 6. We built a home in Sussex in 1986 and after our oldest was born with cerebral palsy, we've spent a lot of time remodeling it to accomodate his wheelchair. All three of our boys are turning into wonderful young men and keep us guite busy. I work at a veteranarian clinic in town, owned by a woman doctor and staffed by all women so sometimes it feels like a grown up version of SMA, but the uniforms aren't as dorky...I remember my time at SMA as being so much fun (wish I'd have taken my studies a bit more seriously but I sure loved the people and the place). Can't make the reunion, but hey, someone please smoke a cigarette in the bathroom for me *grin*. HAVE FUN!
